There are some men who definitely won't like this post...

Mostly, it will be those men who most need this message...

If you're anti-Bible or stubbornly determined to try to do things your way without God, then you can click away now.

Otherwise, here's the deal...in EVERYTHING, God has an ORDER. When things are in their proper order, peace and harmony ensue. When they are out of their order, chaos and disharmony ensues.

Here's what I mean...

In Ephesians 5:22, the Bible says this: "Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord."

If you are a man, that sounds pretty good, does it not?

And, it's pretty plain that a woman's place is to be submitted unto her husband, right?

Well, before you shout too loud, remember that the MAN is to be submitted unto God through Jesus Christ.

The point is that when YOU are submitted to Christ, it's much easier for your wife to submit to you.

When your wife sees YOU submitted to Christ, she's more willing to submit herself to YOU.

But, when you refuse to submit to Christ, it's much easier for your wife to refuse to submit herself to you. After all, if you won't submit, why should she?

Now, let me ask you...did you feel a quickening inside of you as you read the above?

If so, maybe it's time for you to stop and still yourself right now and have a one-on-one conversation with God -- just you and Him.

If you're not quite sure what to say, then say the following with all of your being:

"Jesus Lord, this is __________ and right now, I surrender, submit, and commit myself into your loving care and power. Right now, I ask you to be the Lord of my life. Lord, I ask for your peace in my mind...I ask for your peace in my heart...Lord, starting right now, I want a real and genuine relationship with you...and I want this relationship between you and I to be first and foremost above EVERYTHING else in my life.

Lord, I also ask you for a marriage of mutual love, peace, unity, respect, affection, and intimacy with the woman that you know is best for me...a woman who also wants a true and genuine relationship with you...that together we can serve and worship you.

Lord, I ask you for this and with a simple, child-like faith, I choose now to believe that you will give me this request...that you will bring it to pass with perfect timing. And, no matter what happens...no matter how good or bad things may seem at any given moment, I am going to rest in the faith and belief that you ARE orchestrating and arranging things in order to grant me this request.

Lord, I've spoken my heart to you and I know that you receive me and that your grace and your salvation is for me. Lord Jesus, in your name, I pray that you begin a good work in my life starting now. Amen"

By the way, Ephesians chapter 5 has quite a few things to say about husbands and wives...what husbands should do and what wives should do. As you begin this relationship with God through Jesus Christ, this chapter would be a good one for you to read.
I agree with this.
