When someone has lots of headaches, start investigating and making improvements in this order:

1. The type of drinks being consumed (coffee, soda -- especially diet soda -- are usually the main sources of headaches)
2. The type of foods being consumed (processed foods, high flour, grease, and/or sugar intake are usually the main sources of headaches)
3. Insufficient sleep
4. Stress / pressure related to violation of personal values

By the time a person works their way through this list, the headaches will be gone (with very few exceptions).

But, this requires a mind that's open to changing bad habits.

It's amazing to me the people who are in bedding stores buying one new mattress after another because their bed hurts their back...and kinks their neck...and gives them headaches...and they'll spend thousands of dollars on different kinds of mattresses...just to find they still have the same problems...and they reject the fact that body-intake choices have consequences...they reject the fact that the 4 items I listed above has an impact on their body.

Not only will headaches go away...so will the backaches...and you'll start sleeping and resting better too.
I used to have a lot of headaches and neck problems, and lots of trouble sleeping. It was due to building up tension throughout the day, eating the wrong foods and by using stimulants to keep my energy levels up.

I started a yoga routine that I do every single night before going to bed. I also cut way back on my caffeine intake, and do not drink ANY caffeine after 2:00 PM. Just these two changes helped me go from being a chronic insomniac to sleeping a good 7 hours every night.

I also started an exercise regime that I do as often as possible on my lunch hour. This helps me to boost my energy in the afternoon without drinking coffee. I also lost 15 pounds.

Finally, I cut most of the sugar out of my diet. Sugar tastes good, but is causes energy crashes because you burn through it too quickly. Now I try to eat more whole grains and protein to esnure that my metabolism stays even throughout the day instead of spiking after meals and then crashing again.
